Full of Thanks and other things...
We have eaten our turkey meal. Waverly is now munching on her Thanksgiving teething biscuit and then promptly heading for a bubble bath after being that those darn biscuits basically form a spa mask on her face by the time she’s done.
We got to spend time with family (including little cousin Ava) and watch football, play pass the baby, and enjoy the much much cooler weather.

Tailgating baby...
W’s first tailgate experience took place last weekend at Baylor for the BU/A&M game (split house that we are…). Tailgating with a baby is a little bit different the tailgating days of ole’ where instead of bringing a six-pack to the tent you toting along puffs & a sophie. W did great though and was a hit with all of my College girlfriends.

It's Official...
W is teething. Over the weekend I felt the first bit of a sharp object along her bottom gums (even though I haven’t actually been able to ‘see’ it yet). Waverly twists and turns away kicking and screaming when any form of oral exam is about to take place.

Scream?
No I’m not talking the next scary movie even though this latest phase is a bit frightening. Just in the last week or so W has been ‘screaming’ often in place of just crying or whining.
My Mom instincts tell me this is just a phase; that maybe it’s a new sound effect that she just can’t help but try out on me.

how hard it is to take care of baby when you’re sick.
It’s like running a marathon with a hangover or herding cats with a migraine headached (I would imagine)
I have still been fighting off a bit of a low-grade temp and some achiness. I gotta get better b/c ‘lounging in bed all day watching TV’ isn’t one of Waverly’s favorite things to do quite yet.

Happy 9 Months Baby Girl...
Yes, you are 9 months old now. Each day passing turns you into more of a *gasp* toddler! A lot of Mom’s with 2 & 3 year olds, when they ask how old you are respond “Oh 9 to 12 months was a really fun age…” and they would be correct. You are at a really fun age.
