So why haven’t I been able to blog much lately?
Because I have literally become a human baby ladder.
Waverly wants to climb on me alllll day long. She doesn’t pull up on furniture (thank goodness) but now she only wants to pull up on me non-stop. She has started to really want to walk on her own and so we are probably going to be putting the walker away for good so she doesn’t get confused between walking on her own and walking like a crazy drunk person in the walker.
Any Moms out there that can tell me how long this phase lasts? We are connected at the hip right now! I’m not exactly ready for her to be walking around like a big girl but I’m ready for her to be able to do what she wants to do and not have to cry and get frustrated.
And when did my baby become a full-blown toddler? Geez Louise.

10 Months Old means…

The same cute baby face but with hints of what you will look like as a toddler coming through…

Moving from snacks like puffs to big girl snacks like Cheerios and crackers…

Whizzing past me in your walker with a smile on your face and toy in your hand…

You want to walk and stand but don’t quite know how to yet. This doesn’t stop you from exploring and becoming curious about the World around you more each minute you’re awake.

It means sometimes only 1 nap a day that might even be on your tummy. It means two bottom teeth, more dirty diapers, longer bath times, eating what Mommy & Daddy eat, highchairs, and more hair.
It means I love you more than I did yesterday and less than I will tomorrow.
To the moon and back Muffins…RW
W- today you rode in your toddler stroller seat for the first time.
Daddy & I both remarked on hall tall you look in it. Such a big girl already…slow down on that growing business ok?
We love you to the moon and back…

Happy 9 Months Baby Girl…

Yes, you are 9 months old now. Each day passing turns you into more of a *gasp* toddler! A lot of Mom’s with 2 & 3 year olds, when they ask how old you are respond “Oh 9 to 12 months was a really fun age…” and they would be correct. You are at a really fun age.

You can sit all by yourself and play for as long as you want to, even though you do fuss a bit if one of us gets up and walk away. You make it easy on Me by not crawling yet…but you are learning how to cruise in that walker of yours. Tummy time isn’t exactly on your list of Top Favorite Daily Activities and I’m convinced you may be a skip-the-crawling-straight-to-walking baby one day. (But no rush sweetsies, take your time…for me)

One of my favorite new things is that you laugh when I’m reading you a story that requires animal sound effects. You already know when I’m supposed to make the noise in the story, you wait for it, and then you look up at me and giggle. It’s heart melting. You are so patient and love to sit and listen while I read you a book. We will be doing much more of that in days to come.

You love to sit next to me on the couch and try to pull up using my arms, hair, whatever you can get your hands on. The game that never gets old is the ‘Throw things on the floor and watch Mommy & Daddy pick it up game’. Endlessly fascinating to you.
You LOVE your bath time and could splash around in there until you turned into a prune if we let you. You sleep from 7PM to 5AM, eat, and go back to sleep till around 8 or 9AM. You take two naps and day lasting about an 1 hour each (on a great day). You still love to jump in jumpers and sit in your Bumbo seat. You eat baby food twice and day and recently have learned how to feed yourself puffs - Mommy’s go-to fix in a really fussy moment. (Thank God for Puffs, right?)
Each day you become more of the beautiful, hilarious, fantastic little you. Hugs & Kisses from here to the Moon and back - Mama
